Every year I wait for white chocolate peppermint popcorn at Christmas time. We didn't find any this year. Yesterday in a store we almost never go to I found it for .97 cents a bag. Practically free. I was loading them in the cart when Eric suggested it might be embarrassing to buy too many. Shrug. What would be too many?? I bought 20. Too many? I don't think so. Kids thought it was hillarious. Cashier hasn't tried it. I think she might now. I mean...practically free ;)
Eric and the big girls were joining a local hiking group today. They were late. Missed out on the group part but caught up to them and then opted to keep going on their own. Apparently the group had proper hiking gear. Our trio had cell phones. No back packs, no food or water. Not in proper boots and no rain gear. The hike was on a path. They reported it too tough for the boys but a nice easy walk to the look out. Always nice to find new places to explore. Stoney Hill.
We made our own won ton last night. Yum. They turned out great. Will be even better next time when we tweak the recipe. First time using premade wrappers. They don't taste as nice but still good and soooooo easy.
We also had dumplings for prosperity (look like pots of gold) and long noodles for long life.
