Happy 14th Birthday Jia!

She has no idea where we're going and what we're doing.  I think she liked the surprise part of the day.

These three get along so great. It's rough trying to pull together parties in Dec.  I'm grateful she had good friends to spend her day with.

It was fun to watch Lili and Fei being kids and playing.

Lunch at May Gold.  Bonus.  Then we went to a Dollartree and I told them to go find six picks.  They took off and took it very seriously.  I thought since this was the goodie bag they would grab candy but none of them did!  

Overall it was a pretty great day.  

Aunty B's new baby.

This is River Jinglebottom.  He is 9lbs of pure fluff and joy.  He's a mini Australian Shepherd.  So fun!

Christmas 2023

Xmas eve was low key.  We did read the Night Before Christmas.  Mom was here for dinner.  Over all it was pretty relaxing.

Waiting.  Waiting.  Waiting.  Fei worked nightshift.  She crashes after a 12 hour shift.  We woke her up at noon for lunch and gifts.

We're a tired bunch. Once again it's just too much work.  It will be a long day tomorrow absorbing all the new things and boxing up Christmas.

We barely saw these 3.  They stuck to Jia's room except to grab food.  

Shannon made another duck while we visited.  

Coco was a tad worried. I held her a lot.  

We sort of skipped the music part and then got to it late after half of the peeps had left.  Lovely as usual.

Sassy took advantage of all the extra attention.

Izzy got a new bed.  She crashed while we were singing :)

We got Finn settled back into his space once it was calm and quiet so he and Rosey could spend the night together.  So sweet.

It was loud, crowded and chaotic.  It was so fun.  It's been too long.  The best part of a party is the next day when you've tidied the party mess and the house is still clean and you have no plans.  Soooo relaxing ;)  Lili, Eric the boys and I ran a couple errands and had some lunch at Pings.  Yum.
