Missing Lacie

Oh my gawd I loved that little dog.  Such a big personality.  She filled a lot of space.

The Green Machine.

Jia is too tall.  Luk did great, totally mastered the car this year.  Last year he had a hard time pushing the pedal in.  Kai was super excited.  We were all positive there was no chance he could do it.  But he did make it go!  Spent most of his time stuck on the lawn. Driving through the garden and the new lawn parch.  He ended with ramming full tilt into the end of my car.  Oy.  He surprisingly wasn't hurt. It was a relief to have him away from the car and back on his bike!  Jia ran with Kai the whole time trying to help.  Everytime he put his foot on the pedal his head was thrown back like he was moving at lightening speed. I saw way too much humor in that.

Pony rides.

We went to a fundraiser at the Beban Park equestrian stables for pony rides.  Jia loved it.  Boys not so much.  I was hoping for trail riding in Ensenada in December but clearly we're not ready. ;)  There was egg hunting and cookie decorating too.  Fun stuff.  Nice escape from my Lacie grief.

Eric stayed with Kai.  He couldn't find/see a single colored egg.  There were hundreds scattered everywhere.

Totally fake. Jia doesn't eat cookies.  I ate it :)

Old friends.

Lorilee was here to visit with her new husband Cecil.  Fun to catch up with old friends.  We hadn't seen her since Lili and Fei were little.

Oh Eric.

Came home to this lovely creation.  What on earth?!
He used it to trim the neighbors hedge.  Does not look safe to me.  Hedge looks nice though.

Meeting Thelonious

Dawn-Marie, Al and Rosa have a new baby.
He's 13 weeks old.  What a doll.
