New Years

We had a great night.  Lots of good food and lots of laughs.
Didn't get enough pictures.  We danced the New Year in around 9.
Caught. We have no idea what he wanted.
So cute though.
Walter...one of a kind.

Too Cold Too Play

It was such a sunny day that we stopped at Beban Park to play before hitting Costco.  We made it six minutes before we ran back to the car.  It was pretty funny.  Probably the first time there was no complaints about leaving a park!!

Costco was fun. Super busy.  Lili and Fei took off to enjoy all of the samples.  We went to a mall and wandered around until dinner time.  Mandarin House, the place with tapioca.  A family favorite.

More Manequins.

Jia's 7th Birthday

This girl is such a delight. She is full of character and sass.  Bright and involved. She is getting more out of life than the rest of us.  She was just thrilled that it was her Birthday.  She had fun at her party tonight. I'm so glad a couple of her friends could make it over.  Nice kids, they had a lot of laughs.

Bear coming.
Surprise.
Mannequin.
Andy's coming.
Dab.
We simply can not get Kai to smile for a photo. Cultural thing.  It's been 10 months and he simply has no clue. We say smile and he says smile and then scowls.

Christmas

Kids slept until 8.  The unwrapping took a couple hours.  Phew.  Kai got a little overstimulated and the greeds took over.  We had to slow it down.  He had a cry and then pulled it together.  He was so out of it for a bit that I couldn't get him to focus his eyes.  He was happy to get to the part where things were getting put away.

Jia was in heaven.  She got her hatchimal and the grossery gang so she was all set.  Hatchi has been hatching all day ;)

Luk's favorite gift was a good/special mandala coloring book to use when he colors with me.  So cute.

Big girls seemed happy with their haul.

Now we're lounging in the living room while the boys play in the toy room.  Pretty thrilled our dinner dumplings are already made!  Moving onto snacks any minute.

It's all good here.

A coveted platform swing!
Debate is on, basement or swingset.
We moved furniture to make more room and Izzy filled it up right away.
Best day ever!
Kai hated the house coat,  a lot, so I asked him to get out of the picture if he was going to keep scowling, so he cried and agreed to stop scowling...this is his version of not scowling.
Luk and Jia thought they were the best and I imagine them wearing them as costumes continuously.
After four hours of hatching!
His first Christmas.  It's a crazy day.  Very little of the day makes sense.  He did great overall.
Share gifts.
The best part, playing in the wrapping.
I had a nap and woke up to the words "dinner is ready".  A Christmas miracle.
Hahaha!!  Smart phone fun.
