San Joseph Bay

Two and a half hours from our resort.  The best fsr (forestry service road) we've ever been on.  Dusty and jiggly but no potholes or obstacles.

We found a couple huge lakes, some recreation sites and the furthest out pub.  Eric and I would consider coming back this way with Oscar and some remote car camping.  I was totally surprised at how many cars and people were here. Any car can do this trip.

The hike in took 60 minutes at a Kai and Shelley leisurely pace.  52 minutes out with no picture taking.

Kai was not delighted.

Ta Da!!

Luk and I vote this beach number two of all beaches we've been to ;)
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas is still #1.

Jelly fish.

Omg.  Bucket list.
I couldn't be more thrilled that we had this day.  This moment was even better than I'd hoped for.

Kai found small joys.  He liked his feet in the sand.

He was even happier with lunch.

Dagen up top with Luk peeking behind him.

This wasn't Eric's bucket list but he was glad we came.

It's truely magical.
I had the times for low tide figured out correctly.  Yay me.

The estuary.

It was a pretty perfect day and we got to share it with friends making it even better.
