Christmas 2012

Miss Lili as an elf in the school choir for the Christmas show.

Miss Fei as a reindeer for the school show.

Eric put in a lot of hours for the stage and set up, the production was very good.  Gym is just soooo crowded.  There were four shows, I saw two of them and sat in the back row for both.  Sigh.

Jia came to work with me while Eric helped take the stage down, she made her mark!  Mess everywhere.  We had fun though.

Fei's teacher has a mouse in the classroom that had babies.  Fei almost never talks about her day or anything from school but we got daily reports about the baby mice.  Some of the kids were allowed to take them home, here is Minnie the mouse.  Not Minnie Mouse, but Minnie the mouse to be clear.

She is so tiny, it's amazing to me that she runs in the wheel, scales the sides of the cage and climbs in the tube to her bed.  Jia is totally in love with her and asks non stop for someone to help her hold Minnie.

Christmas train.  Seem to have forgotten how to work my camera again.  Not a great shot but the kids are all in it.

Eric got Jia a fish tank for her Birthday, we set it up early so that it would be up and running for her Birthday.  She was delighted and got right into helping him get it set up.  I need to get a picture of the finished tank.  It's really pretty.

She scrubbed each and every part.  Not a bruise on her back, it's what is left of her mongolian marks.

She was allowed to pick out a friend for Tia, she has a new fish that is white with black stripes, she has named him Zebra.  We got Zebra in Nanaimo and she wanted to hold him all the way home.

Christmas Eve, with the traditional matched jammies.  I bought a pair for Little Guy too.  Can't believe it's been six months and we still don't know anything.

Fei's desk

Lili's desk.

Eric did a fabulous job refinishing both of them and both girls were thrilled.

Finally was able to give Jia her tablet.  Hoping this will relieve her insistance to play with our phones.

The girls were playing with the RC cars and Eric ran and got his to join them.  His is 20 years old.  It was snowing outside so they played with them in the house.  Great fun.

Again, the snow was a bummer for this gift from Gramma and Grampa.  Eric cleared couches in the basement so they could go forward and back.  They are anxious to take it to the driveway.  It holds 140lbs, so all three of them can drive it but Lili doesn't fit and Fei is close to not fitting.

Gearing up for Jia's 3rd Birthday now.  We filled her 'goonie bags' last night.  No matter how many times I say 'goodie' she says 'yes, goonie'.  Too funny.  She is so excited.
