Cat-n-hat.

Our littles get along for the most part. I was expecting way more issues. Occasionally Luk and Jia play pretend games that Kai just can't keep up with. Sunday Luk was a superhero that was rescuing Jia the dog that kept getting into sticky situations. Kai was on his hands and knees and ramming them in the legs with his head.  They were complaining and they wanted him to stop and go away and they're telling me it hurts and could I please remove him. With me trying to find balance.  Reminding them they can't exclude him and even if he can't play the game he can at least be with them. On the other hand he was head butting and wouldn't stop. So basically we gave him 10 shots and then I had to drag him away and he went into an extreme sour puss face and sat glaring at all of us.  You have to wonder how does he know he's been removed but can't figure out that head butting wasn't cool.

Then on Monday I came home from work and the two boys ran to meet me at the door with their hands full of Duplo and they're standing shoulder to shoulder and all grins.

Today the three of them were so intent playing together that they didn't want to stop for dinner but right after dinner Luk and Jia took off to the playroom ditching Kai again.  He seemed clueless and was off playing on his own.  Then he came to the top of the stairs and started hollering to Luk and Jia "catnhat". Eric asked him what he was saying and he ran to show Eric that the Cat in the Hat was on TV.   Progress!  He was attempting to let Luk know his favorite show was on.  Eric said 'oh good the tv is working'. He copies what we say and responds to questions but not a lot of random English coming out.

Eric put new brakes in my car so Kai and Eric are out for a drive now testing them out.  Kai loves going for car rides but he often falls asleep ;)
