Wolves

We stopped at a wolf wildlife center today.  Mildly interesting.  We've been before so it was nice to see Wiley again.  He's getting old.  Their new star of the show is 4 year old Flaura and she does all of the school ambassador trips around BC and Alberta now.  You can still go on hikes with the wolves off leash but it was too hot today to even consider waiting around for that.  Boys had ZERO interest in this stop.

We ended up sleeping in today so Kai chose to drench his bed in pee instead of getting up to pee.  ARG!  So now we're in Golden at a laundromat so he can have bedding tonight. He has  been accident free for some time now.  Today was purposeful, he was awake.  He was mad that we weren't up.  He vengeance peed yesterday as well at the kangaroo farm when I sent him away from me to go to Dad.  He was being nuts with the kangaroo and when asked to go to Dad he freaked and needed to be assisted away from the kangaroo.  He hates to be moved and he lost it.  He refuses to be moved and he turns to jelly and squirms out of your arms.  This time he peed too. And that ended our time at the farm.  He was swiftly removed all the way out in forward motion with the rest of us trailing behind. In case anyone thought our time on holidays was drama free. He was abundantly clear that his behaviour was a problem.  Along with not liking being moved, he hates being removed. Anyways, a new thing to deal with now.  Finally have him using the toilet and now apparently when he is mad he thinks he's going to punish us by peeing. Not cool.  Not fun.  Sad to watch little kids try so hard to control everyone around them.  Kai would be so much happier if he could just be a kid.

So Luk and Jia are coloring.  Kai is watching a movie.  We have air.  The generator is working great. Big kids are with Eric doing laundry.  I'm blogging after doing a little housework.  Can clean the whole place in a few minutes ;)

Next stop is Radium Hot Springs, we're about an hour away.  Hoping for a spot at Kootenay National Park.  Fingers crossed.

Kai wouldn't stop jostling for position so he was moved.  Have I mentioned how much he hates being moved?!
