Not the Parade.

We didn't go to the parade.  I was a bit miffed.  At one point the only plan for the day was for me to drive Lili to work.  Her car needs some brake work done.  So Eric and the boys decided to come with me.

We started by going to look at a used dining set. We found ourselves suddenly needing a new table after an unnamed child damaged the table top beyond my tolerance level. The house we went to was new and beyond impressive.  It's being listed soon for 2.7 million.  Total eye candy.  We had fun visiting with the owners. Their table is beautiful.  Way too ornate and fancy for our house.  It matches nothing and is too big for the space.  So we bought it anyway. Haha.  I love it.  Can't wait for Eric and Albi to pick it up tomorrow.  It will definitely be sad to see ours leave.
Then Pings for lunch.  Next we found a 1974 truck for sale.  Eric chased the guy down and I got to test drive it.  Which was fun.  Price was amazing.  This truck only has 55000 miles on it.
It was fun to contemplate a truck and camper again for a few minutes.

We spent a bit of time at Arbutus kicking tires.  Again.  The boys loved looking.
A wee visit at Gramma's house. Then to pick up Lili.
Then we found Albi.
Lili hadn't seen the lab.  So we got to watch a batch of peach gelato be made.
Yum.

We ended the day with burgers on the porch. It turned out to be a decent day.
