Not so little anymore.

Bit of sadness for me as I celebrate the littles accomplishments.

So the biggest one of all is Luk. Paralyzed and incontinent. And...he has done all of his own bathroom changes for a month this Saturday. Which means he's ready for next steps in his social continence management plan. A day we didn't see coming and weren't sure was possible.

Jia has given up baths for showers suddenly.

Luk cut his own fingernails.

Some more playground stuff is leaving the yard.

All three gave up their camping sippy cups. And this one made me cry. Go figure. Eric thinks I'm nuts of course.

Oliver

I think we might have a name. He's doing great. He's exploring the whole house. He is super busy pouncing and running. We're all loving watching his socially awkward attempts at bonding with all the other pets. The dogs love him. Two of the cats just watch him. Our feral hasn't been home to meet him. Esmei is the only one that is terribly concerned. She is also the only one that still plays so fingers crossed they figure it out.

Most of the pets are ok with Kai but they don't often go out of their way to be near him. Oliver treats everyone equally. Kai is super excited about this and comes to tell me every time Oliver goes to him. So cute.

School supplies.

Our school used to do up kits for the kids and I just sent money. Last year was my first year of shopping off the list. It was awful. Made at least 18 trips into stores. Had to improvise and was months late on a scrapbook for Jia. Because...there was a general list and then a teacher/class specific list that came after school started. And let me tell you how UNPLEASANT the school supply isle is once school starts! It's mayham. There are people online reporting where some of the hard to find items are. For real.

The last notice from school had a basic list attached. So I thought I would be clever and get it done while the shelves are full and empty of moms. Hahaha. Didn't matter. I wasn't the only one thinking. However. I did it with two visits. Both times because I was there anyways.

Kai was extremely keen to watch me write his name on all of the supplies.

Quick visit.

Eric and I took Jia to play with Emily while they're camping nearby. We couldn't stay long...had to pick up Lili from work. Jia wants more time. So hard to fit all the wants into the days.

Some river pics.

We met up with Nicole and family for dinner and a play at the river. Was good to catch up.

Dangerous Naps

Kitten no name tried getting near Jenny but she made it clear he should not. He fell asleep while waiting for her to come around. Shortly after this picture he fell off onto her! All heck broke loose. Lili grabbed him and he went right back to sleep. Jenny went back to sleep too.
