Luk told us he was scared to meet Mickey but he really wanted to meet Tinkerbell so after how badly it went yesterday with the head Mouse we thought we'd start the day making dreams come true. Turns out meeting Tinkerbell was just as scary! No more meeting of characters for Luk. He gets excited to see the characters from a distance and calls their names and waves like mad, he just doesn't want to get close and personal.
We managed to see and do everything we wanted to in Disneyland. We have one day left and we'll spend that day in California Adventure.
The big girls spent a fair amount of time away from us today, going on all the rides they like. We were in Fantasyland with the Littles for most of the day. To Jia's delight we saw a play of Frozen and Elsa and Anna were in it playing themselves of course. Ha ha. Then they were both in the parade. Frozen has infiltrated DL for sure.
We said our goodbyes to DL and surprisingly Jia went willingly. We had dinner at Coco's tonight. Best meal we've had in awhile. Price was great. Littles ate for free. We're planning to eat dinner there tomorrow. It's right across from our hotel. Bonus.
Gramma, Luk picked a toy out to spend his money on. He got a Buzz Lightyear light up toy. He really loves it and he was clear and definite that it was what he wanted. He's sleeping with it. Jia took a lot longer to decide. She finally decided on Elsa gloves and a purse but after extensive searching we admitted defeat and she settled on an Anna set, she wore them to bed. Lili and Fei both picked out t-shirts, they shopped on their own, they did not wear them to bed.
