Passports

Lili and Kai need updated passports.  I'm taking Luk to Victoria Tuesday so hoping to have their applications ready to take in at the same time.  It meant a quick trip to Nanaimo today for passport photos and Lili's signatures. I read on Facebook about a Chinese restaurant called Ping's near Timberlands and wanted to try it, so after coffee here with brother in law Barry we had a late lunch on route.
It's a funny little place.  It's attached to a trailer park.  It's tiny and has a little section of snacks for sale. A lady named Ping cooking with one other fellow helping out front.
It's not the most amazing ever but her won ton and pan dumplings are definitely worth another visit.
We squeezed in a short visit with Mary and family. We left Lili there to have dinner with Jade and scooped May to come with us for the night. They're playing with Moon Dust.
Eric got the new light in!  Four bulbs and already throwing way more light than the old fixture.
It's entirely possible I over shot the amount of light needed.  It's CRAZY bright now. Possibly too bright.
This is Kim. He came Friday and installed new vinyl decking. He did a fabulous job.  We're delighted. Eric is thrilled to not have to do the three step painted system.
It looks like fake exposed aggregate.
