Eric was with Ken Sat and Sun helping build their patio roof.
They got it done.
I stayed home with the kids. It was quiet here. Jia worked Sat and Sun.
I just maintained life and puttered on a few things trip related.
I did have a brief moment of thinking I might want to do some hanging flower baskets. Haha. Then reality hit. We aren't home enough this summer to keep things alive. I have a lot of trips and camping planned.
It looks gorgeous.
Last night I talked Eric into going to A & W with me and the boys for the Teen Burger special. That wasn't actually there. Opps. After spending two days at home I wasn't ready to head back in the house so was protesting by staying in the car. Then got to watch Eric give Luk his first car maintenance lesson. Was Luk interested? Nope. But he graciously stood around pretending to listen.
The kids have no school today. Eric is working on the Falcon trying to install the solar charger and inverter before Thursday. We're supposed to be camping for the Easter weekend. Jia works Fri and Sat and we haven't heard if it will be Sunday too or not. So where ever we end up it will be some added driving and planning. When Lili and Fei were this age and working I stayed home and just visited the campsites. I don't want to miss out though. So, we'll see how the chaos pans out.
We got our room assignment for our four day cruise next Tues. The room looks identical in layout and amenities to our last inside room but with less floor space. So we're happy. It's just us. We have the hydrotherapy spa package. Our plan is to be as zen as possible. We have no plans to dress up for the dining room and we may or may not get off the ship in Seattle or Victoria.
Lili and I did chuckle that it would be pretty funny if the kids met us in Victoria for dinner. We'll see.
