We started our day at California Adventure park and did the two rides we missed. Then to Disneyland where we finished up the last of the rides there. We hit everything on our lists. Five days in the parks and we missed lots. Enough that we're considering using our last day to go back in to see some shows tomorrow. Or go to Knotts. Or hang out in the room. Planning to sleep in first.
Luk really wanted to do the Princess walk. My girls never wanted to go! Kai was keen too. They are so sweet. We met Mulan first and she had them posing in a warrior stance which was pretty exciting for Luk who is all about martial arts these days. Then onto Cinderella. Where they talked about all sorts of things and Luk was trying to scare her. I suggested he be kinder to Cinderella and he looked at her and said "oh yes, please excuse me". At one point Kai tipped his head and zoned out. He wouldn't respond to her so I said I think he's shut down. She promptly said she did that sometimes too and she zoned out with him. Oh my. Then they pretend slept together. She was amazing with them. She tried so hard to understand Kai. They both had so much to say to all three princesses! They thanked me for taking them. Jia was horrified about going and wanted out badly. Eric came and rescued her. They got us lunch and were sitting waiting for us. Perfect. Jia tried making fun of Luk for wanting to meet Princesses but Lili shut that down immediately. Told her in no uncertain terms that boys could like princesses and girls could like boy things.
We even stopped to watch a parade. We used a wheelchair spot. Just cruised in 9 minutes before the parade started and sat down. The chair is handy occasionally. Luk could NEVER do Disneyland without a chair.
Thunder Mountain Railroad has been closed but it was open today so we ended our time on that ride.
Our friends head home tomorrow. Was fun having playmates for the week. I'm sure it will be a bit lonely tomorrow.
