In the dessert. Miles and miles of flat nothing. Dirt and cactus. Facinating. Can not fathom anyone settling down here. Wonder what the appeal is. On the up side it's only 36 here. So positively balmy compared to what we've been getting used to! We stopped for Subway lunch. We were pleased to see something we recognized. Not sure what is coming up. We do get to go through Death Valley and Yosemite National Parks.
