CRA

A couple nights in the new room wrapping and wrapping.  It's soooo quiet in there.  You CANNOT hear the house.  It's weird and nice and a little spooky.  Esmei was delighted with the company.  She's getting comfortable in there however she is also sharpening her claws on the couches.  I'm not impressed.
The Facebook Memory today, 2014.  How cute was Luk?!  Well, they were all cute of course.

Ya'll might remember a few weeks ago we had a problem with our government payments.  Took a day to sort.  Ya.  Still ongoing.  3 and a half hours today.  Several different agents. Apparently I requested an address change the last go around.  Nope.  Just confirmed our actual real address that hasn't changed in 16 years.  Had that go around a few times today.  Several security check question sessions today and they ask more questions with each go around.  I actually had to endure a lecture about changing addresses and how to do it properly with cra so this doesn't happen.  BUT WE DIDN'T MOVE.  Breath.  Drop shoulders down.  At one point she said 'could be a glitch', ah ya, you think?  Since we didn't move!! Ok, so, now my online cra account is finally unlocked.  Things are looking OK for a Dec payment but wait....we have to go through it all over again...because she thinks it looks wrong.  Five kids...3 with disabilities.  It adds up over four months.  We get through that.  The one time disability payment that came out in Oct didn't come either so that is a different phone number and department.  It gets better.  If nothing changed it would have been deposited but because I requested an address change (NOT) it will be the next filing after correction.  So...not coming until spring.  Can you please confirm everything is ok?  No. If your cra is fixed it will come.  But I was told it was fixed and we missed the second filing I've been told it's fixed again but how would we know?  When in the spring?  We don't know and we can't check.  Our government needs help.  I need a nap.  This sort of stuff certainly doesn't feel very productive.

Jia has had another growth spurt.  Yikes.  We started another major overhaul of her clothing last night.  Quite shocking really.  She's also wanting a new look.  No more cute, girly pink things.  No more dresses and absolutely no skirts.  Butterflies are out.  She did keep a flamingo tshirt but I don't believe she'll wear it.  I also kept three of her dresses just in case.  All dress up/costume clothing is out. She was also keen to try jeans as her go to rather then leggings.  Big changes.  We're working slowly on clearing the toys out.  She wants a desk.  Gramma gave her a lap top.  It's hard work reinventing yourself.
