In Nanchang

We're here!

Having a heck of a time getting my phone network working.  No data.  Found some wifi.  No clue who I'm stealing from.  Also had to load a vpn.  So hopefully this works!

Had posts waiting to publish but can't reopen them.

So...

Long,  long day.  It's 2am here.  We're in the Gloria, which hasn't changed at all.  The beds are so so so hard.  The floor with carpet and underlay feels softer.  The room is tiny.  Two single beds.  No crib until tomorrow.  No clue where they will put it.  Jia isn't included in our package so we were told we have to pay for her.   Weird.  Wonder if Luk will be included.  No one believes Jia is three,  not even when we add that she is almost 4.  Apparently she looks five.

Helen met us at the airport.   She did Jia's adoption.  She was so surprised that we're here for a third time.  She says nothing has changed in the process.

We were told we'd get Luk at the civil affairs office but Helen says no, we'll meet him here at the hotel, like usual.  He is 4 1/2 hours away.  They will leave after lunch and we will get him at 4:30.

Helen wanted to take us shopping in the morning but Eric told her we'd be fine on our own.  Looking forward to a walk.  Anything other than planes and airports.

I'm feeling a bit better.  Sinuses are the main issue.  Darn cold.  Such awful timing.

Jia is super excited about meeting her brother.  She spent some time showing us the funny faces she is going to show him if he is scared and crying.
