MRI

He's so cute.  Erm, I mean handsome.  And brave.  His first unsedated mri.  He was asked if he wanted to go on his own and he said yes.  Sob.  So grown up already.  Update: he did great.  Luk is a charmer/talker with precocious language.  The technician came out with a bit of a swoon about how adorable Luk is ;)  I think he meant handsome and brave as well.  Haha.
Obligatory ferry pic.  No eggs Benny until the 19th.  What?!  Why?!  Fairly uneventful drive and ride.
It's taken a while today to find our way around.  Things are extremely curtailed.  One way movement.  Limited admission.  Most things closed.  There is a covid ward here and they are taking extreme precautionary measures.  So we know where everything is but just can't get anywhere the way we know how.  It's been a ton of walking today.  Luk is holding up OK.
Free parking here this time!  Frankly, it should be free parking all of the damn time.  It's not like anyone wants to be here and is abusing the parking. We personally can't wait to get out of here and find dinner and our hotel.
The cafeteria is normally a pretty decent place.  Right now, all prepackaged and just a couple hot meal choices.  I opted for blueberries but they had mold in the cup.  Ew.  Luk and Fei split a sushi snack.  Now we're in the mri area and there is no snacking in here.
Half an hour of this.  Slow moving. Busses going through in skinny little lanes.  I'm such an island girl.  So little interest in the big city.
The BC Residency Program booked our room. Turned out to be pretty great.
Easter Seal was booked. They don't have ac anyways. During another heat wave we're pretty happy to be cool.
Fogs and Suds right in our hotel.  So dinner was a breeze.
He ate all of his and some of Fei's and some of mine.  Haha.  His face.
He didn't get through the whole cone ;)

It's 8:10.  We're bushed.  We're already in jammies and cozying into beds.
