It's been a really long day.
There was a code yellow. Zero clue what that is. Also 2 code grays but we think they were computer related. We didn't ask. Anyways, code yellow....when we went to our car there were police cars. Then realized police and security pacing around. We had to wait for a clearing of cars on the sidewalk before we could back up. There were police cars at the other entrances as well.
Luk is great. The casts will be an ordeal for a couple weeks. Walking allowed but really difficult. He needs assistance. We used a wheelchair to get him out and he got to stay with me while we did paperwork at the orthotics clinic.
Back at the hotel. We stopped at Tims for wraps. He has to tolerate apple juice for half an hour, then yogurt for half an hour and then nothing deepfried or spicy.
I got a chocolate chill. A rare treat but man do I deserve it today.
I imagine Luk and I will nap a fair amount today. Pho soup later for dinner. Home tomorrow.
