Landed

We're at our 1st stop in Sisters, Oregon.  The hosts are lovely.  Their yard is amazing.  It's a great start.

It's been a long day.  Two hours at the border!  Sheesh.  The drive has been uneventful and quite beautiful through parts with all the fall colors.  I've attempted napping off and on but Oscar is a ROUGH ride and every pot hole wakes me up with catastrophic sounds.

When I put the slide out tonight it snapped off the cable from the solar panel.  We have no ladder on this unit so Eric can't attempt fixing it.  Unless we find an rv ladder on route tomorrow.  We have power available at all of the sites booked which is great but not giving us a clear picture of our power situation for actual boondocking. Eric has mentioned a few times before that there is no ladder on this trailer.

Our hosts have a Wrangler, so I brought them a red duck with a maple leaf on his chest ;)

Tomorrow is another long day of driving.  We get to do the drive from the Long Long Trailer so that is pretty exciting.  We've decided to watch the movie after the experience versus before.  It was a debate.

We're up in a ski area tonight and will start our day with driving through Klamath which is always gorgeous. We saw all the weather today, stormy winds, pelting rain, fog, fog in the rain and fog in the dark, drizzly and dark, blazing sun and the need for sunglasses and even a little snow.
