Crazy idea. 3 hours in on a dusty bumpy road. Not mini van friendly. 2 hour hike. 2 hours out. Phew.
The drive had some pretty spectacular views.
The hike we did is down for an hour and then up for an hour.
Lots of new things to look at. Gelatinous mushrooms.
Coco wanted to be with me but packing two was a bit tough for me. Next best thing, watching Mama.
They did more walking than usual. Frankly I needed my hands free to swat the bugs.
It was worth it.
Undesputable PROOF of Sasquatch. Toe prints! Kids were all trying to tell me it was a bear. They're no fun.
We ended the day with a late dinner in Lake Cowichan. Grateful to have found food.
